Role Overview:
As a drill fitter at DRC Drilling, based in the Cobar NSW area, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing drilling equipment and machinery. Your role is crucial in ensuring our drilling operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Surface and Underground drilling rigs, and other equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems with drilling machinery.
Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Assemble, install, and test new equipment and components.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.




Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Drill Fitter with light and heavy experience.
Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
Ability to work with precision tools and equipment.
Good understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications or qualifications
