Tasks & Responsibilities
Admission of patients to our health service
Providing high level customer service
Monitoring and categorising incoming emails
Managing confidential patient information professionally
Answering calls and enquiries from patients and the public and connecting them to the most appropriate team member
Working collaboratively with Nurse Coordinators to ensure all results and treatment orders are in place prior to treatment
Liaising with specialist rooms, health funds, and pathology centres to facilitate patient care
Patient document preparation and management to support service delivery
Performing health fund eligibility checks

Criteria for the Role
Previous medical administration experience and understanding of medical terminology
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to self-direct and work independently (essential)
Ability to foster strong working relationships within a remote setting
Ability to remain calm under pressure with a professional and pleasant phone manner
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Teams) and patient administration systems
Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours (some shifts may commence at 6:00am)
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise competing demands
Training period of approximately 4–6 weeks will take place onsite.
Once training and competency requirements are met, hybrid/WFH arrangements may be considered.
Must be available to attend the West Leederville office a minimum of 2 days per week once the training period is completed
