6 months Contract, with a likely extension to December ****Canberra-based roleMinimum NV1, with ability to obtain NV2Experience in Defence procurement, commercial contract management and ASDEFCON environmentsRoleJoin a high-profile Defence acquisition program supporting the delivery and sustainment of critical capability for the Australian Defence Force.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Commercial Officer who enjoys working in a collaborative project environment, providing commercial and procurement expertise across complex acquisition activities while ensuring compliance with Commonwealth policies and contractual obligations.
Your duties will include:Support tender development, evaluation and contract administration activities using the ASDEFCON framework.Prepare procurement documentation and coordinate required approvals.Assist with subcontractor engagement, due diligence and ongoing commercial management.Monitor commercial risks, opportunities, financial performance and contract compliance.Support procurement, financial and commercial reporting across project activities.Collaborate with project stakeholders while maintaining a secure and compliant working environment.
Skills and experience we are looking for:Demonstrated experience in commercial,



contract or procurement management within complex projects.Strong knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policies and ASDEFCON contracts.Experience in contract administration, financial planning, pricing and commercial reporting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.About Us:
