Reporting to the Manager Research and Innovation, you will lead and deliver complex, multidisciplinary research projects while contributing to ChemCentre's reputation as an independent and trusted scientific authority.
The successful candidate will provide scientific leadership, manage cooperative and externally funded projects, and build strong partnerships across industry, government and academia.
You will apply advanced expertise in mining and minerals-related environmental chemistry, including environmental risk assessment, metalliferous and acid rock drainage, soil chemistry and leaching processes.
In this role, you build and lead effective high performing team,



communicate effectively and will have highly developed stakeholder management skills to provide expert advise on characterisation, assessment and reuse of mine and industrial byproducts to support circular economy outcomes and infrastructure sustainability
