your opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and energetic leader to guide our Bundaberg Employment Services team.
This role oversees the delivery of Transition to Work (TtW) and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA), two complementary programs operating under one roof to create a connected, high impact service for young people and employers.
Our contracts allow us to work alongside participants in cutting-edge ways, it's about engagement, not compliance.
As the
Business Manager
, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across both programs.
You will drive performance, strengthen employer and community partnerships, identify growth opportunities and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Through authentic leadership and coaching, you will inspire and develop a diverse team to achieve ambitious goals while delivering exceptional participant experiences.

Your role will include:
Drive performance across both programs by delivering high quality services, achieving business goals and strengthening community engagement.
Lead and grow a high performing team by coaching with purpose, building capability and creating a supportive environment where quality services are consistently delivered.
Grow employer demand and convert it into real job outcomes by co-designing pathways, creating meaningful work trials and using program supports to secure sustainable employment for our members.
Represent
yourtown
with confidence by building trusted relationships with employers, schools and community partners and strengthening our presence across the region.
Achieve objectives and targets across service delivery, financial management, contract compliance and employer engagement.
Balance strategic focus with hands on operational leadership, adapting your approach to support your team and drive strong performance.

We are looking for a strategic, people-focused leader who is passionate about creating opportunities for young people and developing high-performing teams.
You are an experienced leader who thrives on building capability, driving performance and creating a positive culture where people are challenged, supported and empowered to succeed.
You're resilient, organised and thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
You will bring:
Extensive experience within Employment Services, with demonstrated business management and leadership experience.
Strong business acumen, with a track record of driving performance.
Demonstrated ability in leading and managing teams and site resources to achieve set targets and performance objectives.
Well-developed communication, liaison, and networking skills with the ability to influence and negotiate across internal and external stakeholders.
Solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers to employment faced by disadvantaged young people.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of program contract, systems and KPI's.
Extensive knowledge of youth employment issues including challenges to employment, strategies to overcome challenges and a demonstrated empathy with young people.
