The Opportunity
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and contributing beyond compliance.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with Partners, play a key role in delivering outcomes, and continue developing your expertise across a diverse range of accounting, tax and advisory matters.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
Offer support and training to junior team members
About You
Minium of 2-3+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
Working towards, or planning to commence, the CA Program
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related discipline
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Previous experience working remotely highly advantageous
Solid technical accounting knowledge, or a genuine eagerness to build it
Experience with APS accounting software (highly regarded)
Good written and verbal communication skills
Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
Proactive, motivated and genuinely keen to learn, grow and develop professionally
