About the role
As a
Leading Hand Electrician
, you'll lead a small team across a range of commercial construction projects throughout Perth, while remaining hands-on with installation works.
Your responsibilities will include:




leading and coordinating 1-2 apprentices
commercial electrical installations (incl. cabling, switchboards and lighting)
reviewing drawings, specifications, and requirements
planning daily work activities, materials, and labour
monitoring workmanship, productivity, and safety
testing, commissioning, and quality documentation
identifying and escalating installation issues
coordinating with other trades and supporting project delivery.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights
essential
Current WA Electrical Workers Licence
essential
Current Australian driver's licence
essential
Demonstrated commercial construction experience
Experience leading apprentices or small installation teams
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS **** and commercial installation practices
Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Confident using technology, software, and iPad-based systems
Education/retail/industrial/multi-level commercial project experience
highly regarded
Familiarity with Simpro and Autodesk Forma
advantageous.
