Maleny Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, is seeking a motivated individual to join our course maintenance team as an Apprentice Sports Turf Manager.
This role provides the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management while gaining hands-on experience maintaining a high-quality golf course.
Key Responsibilities
Golf course maintenance including greens, tees, fairways and rough
Operation of turf machinery and mowing equipment
Bunker maintenance and course preparation for play
Irrigation operation and watering
Pest, weed and turf health management (under supervision)
Assisting with general course improvement works
About You
Reliable with a solid work ethic
Enjoy working outdoors
Willing to learn and develop new skills
Able to work as part of a team
Must have reliable transport and/or hold a current driver's licence
Previous experience in turf, horticulture or landscaping is desirable but not essential.
This role forms part of a structured apprenticeship program (up to 3 years) leading to a Certificate III qualification in Sports Turf Management.
