About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Strategic Talent Advisor to support a large-scale Commonwealth Government program.
This is a senior opportunity for a recruitment and workforce professional with strong experience in labour hire talent acquisition, stakeholder engagement and contract management within the Australian Federal Government.
Location: QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, NT, SA, TASMust be Australian citizen and hold Baseline or higher security clearance
Key responsibilitiesDevelop, implement and drive labour hire recruitment and retention strategies aligned with program objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with labour hire suppliers and other external stakeholders.Manage labour hire contract discussions, including sensitive and confidential contractual matters.Work closely with internal stakeholders, including cyber security and fraud teams, on workforce and contract management activities.Partner with business areas to understand workforce requirements and support talent identification and performance management strategies.Analyse workforce trends and provide strategic advice to senior executives on labour hire and workforce capability.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and promote best practice across recruitment and workforce management functions.Support organisational capability development through effective workforce planning, performance management and strategic talent initiatives.
Highly desirable criteriaDemonstrated experience in Commonwealth Government labour hire recruitment and contract management.Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism,
discretion and integrity.Experience engaging with senior executives and a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Active Baseline security clearance.
Desirable criteriaExperience managing recruitment and labour hire contracts within a complex program environment.Experience supporting workforce planning, organisational capability or talent management initiatives.
Skills and experienceStrong knowledge of Commonwealth Government labour hire policies, processes and procurement practices.Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.Proven ability to prioritise competing workloads and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.Highly developed organisational skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.Demonstrated integrity and sound judgement when operating within legislative and policy frameworks.Must have Baseline of higher security clearance
