Job Description
Steppe Construction Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Construction Supervisor to join our team and support the planning, coordination, and delivery of our residential, commercial, and civil construction projects.
Work locations may vary depending on project requirements, and the role may involve working across different construction sites as directed by the employer.
Perks Career Development Task & responsibilities ?
Preparing, interpreting, and reviewing building plans, drawings, and specifications ?
Estimating costs, quantities of materials, and labour requirements for construction projects ?
Supervising building and construction work and coordinating trades and subcontractors on site ?
Inspecting building sites and reviewing work progress against schedules and specifications ?
Ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and relevant building regulations ?
Preparing sketches, diagrams, and documentation to demonstrate regulatory compliance ?
Arranging and monitoring building approvals, permits, and inspections ?
Liaising with clients, architects,



engineers, and regulatory authorities ?
Maintaining accurate project records, reports, and correspondence ?
Complying with WHS requirements, building codes, and company procedures Qualification & experience ?
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Building Associate or in a similar building/construction supervisory role ?
Diploma or Associate Degree in Building, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) ?
Sound knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and Australian Standards ?
Ability to read, interpret, and prepare construction drawings and specifications ?
Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills ?
White Card (mandatory) ?
