We are looking for an exceptional Activity Assistant for
our Perth Social Centre.
Reporting to the Social Centre
Co-ordinator, you will run programs that promote social engagement
for our clients.
You will also provide client transport as
required.
This is role is offered on a
permanent,
part time
basis at the Perth Social Centre.
Shifts will
be:
7am – 2pm Tuesdays
7am – 2pm Thursdays
There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional
shifts covering leave
Key responsibilities:
Deliver programs, activities and outings for clients.
Assist in meal preparation with clients.
Undertake efficient and safe client transport using a bus
to and from the Centre.
Essential criteria:
Previous experience in a Therapy or Activity Assistant
role.
Skills in providing client centred, meaningful
activities
Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for
one
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations – minimum of
one covid vaccination and **** flu vaccination.
Current C class drivers' licence.
Desirable criteria:




Certificate 3 or 4 Allied Health Assistance or Certificate
3 Aged Care or Individual Support (Aged Care or Home and
Community Care).
Demonstrated knowledge of local community services.
LR Class Drivers licence or willingness to obtain
one.
