About Us
Nawiri Care Services is a registered NDIS and Department for Child Protection (DCP) support provider based in Adelaide, with a regional presence in Whyalla.
We support participants across disability and child/youth residential care programs across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
We're a values-led team that believes every young person deserves consistent, trauma-informed, and genuinely person-centred support and we back that up with real investment in our people and our systems.

This isn't a desk-bound management role.
You'll be closely involved with participants, families, and staff providing therapeutic guidance, holding case management responsibility, and being a steady, expert presence for a team working with some of our most vulnerable young people.
You'll work closely with the General Manager and sit alongside our Client Service Coordinator team, with a dedicated focus on Child & Youth and DCP-funded participants.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support the Team Leaders and Disability Support Workers delivering direct care to this cohort
Hold case management responsibility for Child & Youth and DCP-involved participants, including support plans,

risk assessments, and behaviour support coordination
Act as the key liaison with DCP, the NDIS Commission, and other external stakeholders on Child & Youth matters
Lead incident response, reportable incident processes, and regulatory correspondence for participants in your portfolio
Ensure all documentation support plans, progress notes, risk assessments is current, high-quality, and audit-ready
Model best-practice, person-centred, trauma-informed care across the team
About You
Relevant qualification in social work, psychology, mental health, youth work, or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in case management and/or therapeutic practice with children and young people, ideally within out-of-home care, child protection, or disability contexts for a minimum of 1year.
Experience supervising or mentoring staff, with a genuine coaching and team-support style
Sound understanding of DCP processes, NDIS practice standards, and trauma-informed care principles
Robust written communication skills you can produce clear, professional documentation and correspondence under real time pressure
Current DHS Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and a valid driver's licence (or ability to obtain)
Why Join Nawiri
Be the clinical and case management anchor for a caseload where your expertise will make a direct, visible difference
Work within a close-knit, supportive leadership team that values clear communication and genuine collaboration
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Ongoing professional development and support to grow your practice
