About the Role
(This is an internal role for Peoplebank Australia, not a hiring for our client.)
We are seeking an entry to associate level, detail‐oriented and proactive Payroll & Invoicing Officer to join our Client and Contractor Services (CCS) team.
In this role, you will support end‐to‐end payroll and invoicing operations for a large contractor workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all processes.
We will ensure you are trained well and be supported throughout.

You will play a critical role in supporting our contractors and clients by ensuring they are paid and invoiced accurately and on time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and business performance.

Responsibilities
Process weekly end‐to‐end payroll for 2,000+ contractors using FastTrack360




Review and process timesheets, leave, terminations, and payroll adjustments
Ensure accurate and timely superannuation uploads and reconciliations
Generate, release, and correct invoices in line with client requirements
Reconcile payroll, timesheet, and invoicing data, resolving discrepancies
Prepare compliance and audit reporting
Respond to payroll and invoicing queries from internal stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll and invoicing processes
What we look for
Experience in payroll (preferred)
Exposure to recruitment/labour hire payroll (strong advantage)
Payroll systems experience (FastTrack360 - strong advantage, but not necessary)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a quick‐paced, high‐volume environment
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive and solutions‐focused mindset
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Total package: $64,960 – $69,440 inclusive of superannuation
We promote flexible working - currently 2 days in the office, and 3 days from home.
This role offers strong development pathways within payroll, finance, and broader CCS operations, with opportunities to cross‐train and expand your skillset.
