Process Control Network Engineer
Initial 12 months contract with a possible extension
Based in Perth CBD
Solid experience supporting SCADA, ICS, and OT network environments.
About the role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to support and optimise critical OT network environments across complex industrial operations.
In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable Process Control Networks, supporting SCADA and control systems, and driving infrastructure improvements that enhance operational performance and security.
Job responsibilites:
Design, support, and maintain Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure within OT environments.Configure and troubleshoot industrial networking equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.Support SCADA, control systems, and industrial application connectivity.Diagnose and resolve network, communications, and cybersecurity issues.Partner with operations, controls, and cybersecurity teams to improve network performance and security.Assist with infrastructure upgrades, technology refreshes, and network improvement projects.Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices.Key Requirements:
Experience within mining, energy, utilities,



manufacturing, or other OT environmentsStrong knowledge of Ethernet networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network securityHands-on experience with technologies such as Cisco, Hirschmann, Stratix, Palo Alto, or similarUnderstanding of SCADA, industrial control systems, and OT network architecturesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesRelevant degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related fieldDesirable:
Experience with ISA/IEC *****, NIST, or other OT cybersecurity frameworksKnowledge of industrial protocols including Modbus, DNP3, OPC, EtherNet/IP, or ProfinetIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet NSEHow to apply:
