We are looking for a talented Parts Interpreter to join our team in Swan Hill, VIC.
You will be responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision.This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover contract for 9 months, commencing in September ****.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Act as the first contact for customers, addressing their needs and issues promptlyParts interpretation and the provision of required partsProcessing and receiving orders and quotes in a timely mannerAdvise on part suitability and talk customers through the best solution for the jobCarry out customer parts counter duties including receiving parts calls, greeting, and assisting walk‐in customers, completing and processing paperwork and handling check and credit card transactionsOrganise and manage daily freight deliveryTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Parts interpreter experience in an automotive or similar industryCustomer service and effective communication skillsEngine knowledge is an advantageAbility to learn new software and processesHigh attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and troubleshoot complex tasksForklift ticket would be highly desirableValid car driver's licence is requiredCompensation and Benefits3 days per week, 7.54am – 4.30pmCompetitive hourly rateOvertime penaltiesSafety equipment / PPE providedUniforms providedComprehensive Cummins product training providedIncome protection continuance insuranceDiscounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehiclesAnnual remuneration reviewParticipation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programA range of personal and qualified benefitsOnsite parkingEmployee assistance programme available to employeesPaid parental leave (conditions apply)At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
