The Trainer position will be responsible for delivering the training required for the operation, implementation and support of products for mission critical Command and Control systems for our customers.This role requires periods of travel both domestically and internationally.
The position is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract and can be based from the Sydney or Canberra offices.
Australian citizenship and a current Positive Vetting (PV) clearance (or one held in the last 12 months that can be re‐activated) is required.Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesProvide SME input into a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and a Training Concept.Review and update end‐user training courses and material.Plan,



manage and coordinate a training schedule.Deliver ad hoc and scheduled end‐user training.Assess and evaluate trainees.Input subject matter expertise on training requirements to system development.Assist operators with On‐the‐Job Training.Attend and participate in regular departmental and project meetings.Attend and participate in service/technical reviews (both internal and external).
Key Knowledge and ExperienceCertificate4 in training and assessment.Analytical intelligence experience.Experience in, or solid interest in, working in secure ICT environments.Knowledge or experience of geospatial tools and data formats.Nationally recognised instructor qualifications or experience.Generation of training material.Additional RequirementsCompletion of pre‐employment police and, if required, medical checks.Australian citizenship and a current Positive Vetting (PV) clearance.Nationality may be a factor under the Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
