About The Opportunity
As the Assistant Commercial Analyst, you'll support day‐to‐day commercial finance operations, including reconciliations, month‐end close, and financial data integrity.
You'll take ownership of key processes across Corporate Stores and the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS), contributing to continuous improvement and strategic finance initiatives.
This is a full‐time, permanent role based at Macquarie Park with a hybrid working model of three days in the office.
In this Role
Preparation of month‐end reporting for National Corporate Stores
Perform balance‐sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts and ensure accuracy
Prepare and validate financial reports and supporting data, including responding to stakeholder queries
Support key reporting activities for Container Deposit Scheme (CDS)
Conduct variance and trend analysis to identify key insights and underlying drivers
Apply and build knowledge of non‐trade reporting
Maintain accurate documentation, reconciliations, and audit‐ready records
Ensure adherence to controls, processes, and approval frameworks
You're Likely a Match If
2‐4 years of experience in accounting, business, or assistant commercial analyst role




CPA / CA qualified or working towards completion
Hands‐on experience with reconciliations and month‐end close
Advanced Excel and financial modelling exposure highly regarded
Pro‐active with solid analytical and problem‐solving skills, and high attention to detail
Experience with ERP/reporting tools (e.g. D365, Power BI, TM1) highly regarded
