Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pediatric ICU within the Healthcare & Medical Services department.
As part of one of the largest non-profit healthcare organizations in the U.S., you will provide compassionate, family-centered critical care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex and life-threatening conditions.
In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and continuously monitor patient status using advanced pediatric critical care equipment and technology.
You will collaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of a multidisciplinary care team to ensure protected, evidence-based, and holistic care.Working in a compassionate and patient-focused environment, you will support and educate families, explain treatment plans, and advocate for patients' needs while respecting cultural, spiritual, and developmental differences.
You will be responsible for accurately documenting all aspects of care,



responding rapidly to changes in patient condition, and participating in emergency interventions and code situations as needed.
