Where you'll be working
Kurri Kurri is a small town located in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
It boasts many attractions and is a short drive to the renowned Pokolbin wine region and the cities of Maitland and Newcastle.
Kurri Kurri Hospital is an acute and transitional care facility providing general and geriatric medicine; ear, nose and throat and ophthalmic surgery, a 24-hour emergency department and a 24-bed rehabilitation unit.
What You'll Be Doing
Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team including leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients.




Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise, with demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to convey information to both a clinical and non clinical audience.
Evidence of continuing career development and commitment to self-education with evidence of desire to pursue specialist status in rehabilitation medicine.
