Position
Fixed-term, full-time, day worker position commencing from 30 October **** until 1 October ****.
Dual service opportunity: work within the allied health outpatient clinic and embedded within the interdisciplinary team in the specialist plastics and orthopaedic clinic.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with surgical teams in shared decision‐making toward meaningful patient outcomes.
Manage a highly diverse hand therapy caseload, including chronic and traumatic injuries such as tendon, nerve and bone injuries.
Provide clinical autonomy in the management of easy fractures and support complex trauma treatment.
Offer mentorship and further skill development in hand therapy, burns and scar management.
Work as part of the experienced therapy team in Hands/Burns/Plastics and within the wider Allied Health teams.
Qualifications




Registered physiotherapist or occupational therapist with a tertiary qualification approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia or the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
Certification of Hand Therapy (CHT) or equivalent postgraduate qualification (desirable).
Eligible or working towards membership of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (desirable).
