The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated
Operations Assistant
to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across multiple sites.
This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining service standards, and providing leadership and training to a team of cleaners.
You will work closely with our Operation Manager to provide services commercial and residential clients, including NDIS participants, ensuring services are delivered with empathy, professionalism, and a strong focus on client wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision
: Lead, mentor, and train a team of cleaners, promoting a supportive work environment focused on growth and collaboration.
Operational Management
: Oversee the cleaning operations across assigned sites, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Client Engagement
: Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and NDIS participants to ensure services meet their unique needs and expectations.
Site Audits & Reporting
:



Conduct regular site inspections to maintain cleaning standards and address any issues.
Provide accurate reports on performance metrics and safety compliance.
Continuous Improvement
: Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
What you Bring
Leadership
: Proven experience in supervising cleaning teams or similar roles, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Operational Experience
: At least 1-2 years of experience in the cleaning or facility services sector, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
Empathy & Understanding
: Ability to work effectively with clients, particularly in residential and care environments.
Strong Communication Skills
: Ability to liaise with clients, manage relationships, and resolve issues professionally.
Systems Proficiency
: Experience using systems for rostering, auditing, and reporting.
Attention to Detail
: Ability to manage compliance reporting, timesheets, and ensure high standards are upheld.
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
(or willingness to obtain)
Current Australian Driver Licence
(Mandatory)
Work Authorisation
: Must have current Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
