Role Description:Sustech Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our Perth-based team in a casual, on-site role.
This position is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in mining, mineral processing,
or other heavy process plant environments who is passionate about improving asset reliability and maintenance performance.The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to analyse plant and equipment performance, identify reliability risks and failure trends, and develop practical solutions that improve asset performance, safety, and lifecycle costs.
A key aspect of the role is developing and documenting maintenance strategies, asset management plans, and reliability improvement initiatives for critical plant and equipment.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Demonstrated experience in mining, mineral processing, process plant, or other heavy industrial environments.Experience or exposure to asset management principles and maintenance optimisation.Experience developing or contributing to maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment reliability plans.Strong understanding of Reliability Engineering principles, including Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional technical reports and maintenance documentation.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
