We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team within the social care sector in Perth, Western Australia.
This part-time, permanent role is essential for ensuring effective scheduling and rostering of staff, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our services.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of care provided to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the scheduling and rostering of staff to ensure adequate coverage for client needs.
Maintain accurate records of staff availability, leave requests, and shift changes.
Communicate effectively with staff regarding their schedules and any changes.
Support the management team in the development and implementation of rostering policies.
Utilise scheduling software to optimise staff allocation and minimise gaps in service delivery.
Prepare reports on staffing levels and assist in identifying trends or issues.
Provide administrative support to the Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the social care sector.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
