THE ROLE
iLA is currently seeking a passionate and experienced allied health professional to play a vital role of providing clinical leadership and evidence-based expertise across iLA's programs, products and services.
Working across the organisation, the Allied Health Lead will work to ensure that information and initiatives are clinically robust, contemporary, accessible and responsive to consumer and sector needs.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Providing clinical and evidence-based advice across iLA.
Ensuring programs, resources and digital content are clinically accurate, accessible and audience appropriate.
Building productive relationships with consumers, carers, allied health professionals, researchers, universities, providers and peak bodies.
Supporting the design, delivery, review and continuous improvement of programs and services.
Developing and maintaining resources relating to assistive technology, home modifications, healthy ageing, reablement and disability.
Contributing to research, evaluation, co-design and knowledge translation.
Delivering training, workshops and presentations to staff, stakeholders and community audiences.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will possess:
Current AHRPA registration.
Sound understanding of aged care and disability sectors.
Extensive allied health experience and a strong evidence-based approach.
Solid knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practice and co-design.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor and translate information for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated knowledge in areas such as healthy ageing, reablement, disability, assistive technology and independent living.
Experience developing educational or clinical resources.
