Job Description
ACP Hardstand Solutions Position: Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Engineering Technician Full time Location: Neerabup WA Yelland Pty Ltd T/A ACP Hardstand Solutions provide specialist hardstand and paving services to a number of key operators in the Australian-based Mining & Resources sector.
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our concrete brick manufacturing plant.
These are full-time, permanent positions.
Mechanical Fitter Duties & Responsibilities -Perform routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment and machinery -Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs -Maintain conveyors, mixers, hydraulic brick presses, and associated equipment -Assist with breakdown repairs to minimise downtime -Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks -Ensure all work complies with workplace safety standards Skills & Experience -Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or similar -Experience working in manufacturing, concrete, or brick production plants (preferred) -Robust fault-finding and problem-solving skills -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Good understanding of workplace health and safety -Proficient in computing skills to help with maintenance programmes and to bring ideas -Must have car licence Mechanical Engineering Technician Duties & Responsibilities




Support in installation and assembly of mechanical equipment, machinery and components following the technical drawings and specifications
-Scheduling inspections of maintenance on mechanical system and equipment by lubricating, adjusting and replacing of worn parts if necessary.
Do troubleshooting, diagnose mechanical faults and identify the cause of mechanical problem
Do repair and overhauling of equipment of engines, pumps, compressors, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Dismantling, repair, and assembling mechanical components
Conduct operational and performance testing after the repair
Skills & Qualifications
AQF Certificate III plus two years on-the-job training
-Minimum of 3 years related / equivalent experience -Knowledge of mechanical system, machinery and equipment -Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, manuals and engineering specifications -Understand of mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, valves and gear system -Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatics and fluid systems -Ability to use diagnostic tools and precision measuring instruments -Knowledge in installation, repair, maintenance, diagnose of mechanical parts and system of the equipment -Ability to analyze equipment performance, conduct troubleshooting mechanical faults Salary range: $79,423 to $95,000 If you believe you have these skills & qualities to be part of our team, please submit your CV.
