Location and Roster
FIFO from Perth; or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier.
Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin, Eastern Pilbara — 211 km inland from Onslow and 180 km west of Paraburdoo.
Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, followed by a two-hour bus to site.
Roster is 8:6 or 15:13.
About the Prospect
Working in close collaboration with Geologists in the on-site core yard our Geology Technician's key accountabilities include:
Assisting with underground and ROM sampling.
Participating in pre-starts and handovers to arrange daily work activities and prioritisation.
Processing of diamond drill core samples ensuring layout and orientation of core samples and meters are correct, marked up and cut, ready to go to the laboratory for analysis.
Maintaining a high level of housekeeping, ensuring remaining core samples,



core pallets and chip trays are systematically stored and all data collected is recorded.
About You
We are looking for a person with a positive and motivated 'can do' attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together.
In addition, we require the following:
Strong understanding and experience with processing of grade control diamond core.
Experience with meter marking, orientation, cutting, and sampling.
Competent with Integrated Tool Carrier operation highly regarded.
High-risk forklift licence.
C Class license (manual).
