About Us
Marco Polo Supports is a registered NDIS provider based in Geelong, supporting around 180 participants across the region with a team of dedicated support workers.
We're a growing, values-driven organisation on a mission to raise the bar for disability support, and we're looking for a creative, self-motivated Social Media & Marketing Officer to help tell our story.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a marketing or social media professional looking for flexible, part-time hours with genuine ownership over a growing brand.
Working closely with our CEO, you'll take the lead on our social media presence, content creation and broader marketing initiatives, all while making a real difference in the disability community.
The role starts at 10 hours a week, making it a excellent fit for someone studying a marketing degree, or a freelancer looking to add a steady client to their roster.
Our hope and goal is for the hours to grow over time in line with the success of your work, so there's real potential for this to develop into something bigger.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing and growing our presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube
Planning and maintaining a social media content calendar
Creating engaging, on-brand content, including graphics, reels,
videos and written posts
Monitoring and responding to comments, messages and community interactions
Tracking analytics and using insights to improve performance
Supporting our marketing strategy, brand consistency and promotional campaigns
Designing marketing materials such as flyers & brochures
Keeping our website fresh with news and updates, and supporting basic SEO
Reporting on marketing activity and campaign outcomes to the CEO
What We're Looking For
Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms
Experience creating and editing digital content (graphics, short form video, written copy)
A creative eye for design and visual storytelling
Confidence with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently
A genuine interest in the disability and NDIS sector (experience in NDIS, disability, health or community services is highly regarded but not essential)
No formal qualifications are required, though a Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is a bonus.
