POSITION: ELECTRICAL OFFICE MANAGER
Position:
Full-time Administration / Accounts Manager
Salary:
$75,000 – $105,000 + Super (Commensurate with experience)
Hours:
Monday to Friday (start/finish times negotiable)
Location:
Darwin / Rural NT area
Must:
Be a resident of Darwin and an Australian citizen.
About Us
We are a small but very busy family electrical contracting business serving residential, commercial, and remote projects across the Northern Territory, specialising in PV systems, both off-grid and grid-connected.
We pride ourselves on safety, high-quality artistry, and reliable client service.
We are now looking for an experienced
Office Manager
to take the reins of our administrative operations and support our expanding team of sparkies and projects.

Reporting directly to the Managing Directors, you will be the organisational heartbeat of our office.
You will streamline internal processes, manage job workflows from cradle to grave, and ensure our field team is backed by seamless administration, compliance, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Must have a strong understanding of the following
Financial Administration:
MYOB: Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, invoicing, reports and bank reconciliations.
Compliance & Safety:
Maintain project compliance documentation,
contractor licensing records, safety compliance, and training matrices.
Supplier & Client Liaison:
Coordinate material orders with electrical wholesalers, manage supplier accounts, and act as the primary point of contact for client follow-ups.
Compile:
Quotations, Electrical Reports and Owner manuals for PV systems.
Process Improvement:
Continuously optimise office procedures, implement efficiency measures, and support general business growth.
An advantage but not required:
the ability to have or get a forklift licence to load and unload deliveries if required.
About You
Proven experience as an Office Manager, Operations Administrator, or Project Coordinator—ideally within the electrical, trade, or construction sector.
Working proficiency with trade-specific job management systems and accounting software (MYOB experience is highly advantageous).
Exceptional communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to juggle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with an understanding of workplace safety compliance and trade documentation.
Local NT experience or a strong grasp of the local regional trade market is a distinct advantage.
