The role
We're looking for a Contracts Administrator to support the commercial delivery of projects across QLD.
Based in Cairns, this role will also support project outcomes across QLD.
Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in procurement, contract administration and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual, financial and programme requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage subcontract procurement from tender through to contract executionPrepare tender documentation, evaluate submissions and support trade lettingAdminister subcontract agreements, variations and payment processesSupport head contract administration including notices, EOTs and variationsAssist with cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance trackingMonitor subcontractor performance against budget, programme and scopeCoordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of procurement and commercial outcomesMaintain accurate records,



documentation and contract complianceSupport project delivery through strong stakeholder coordination and communication
Essential
About You:
Degree qualified in Construction Management or a similar discipline3-7 years' experience in commercial construction (builder-side preferred)Experience in subcontract procurement and contract administrationStrong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processesAbility to manage multiple trade packages and deadlinesHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident communicator with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationshipsStrong systems capability
