The Role – On-Site General Practitioner
We are seeking dedicated General Practitioners to join our team in
on-site roles only
, based in Katherine and across our remote communities.
Deliver face-to-face clinical care within community clinics
Build strong, long-term relationships with patients and community
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on the ground
Participate in scheduled rotations across remote locations (where applicable)
* Rates are variable based on experience and on-site commitment.
What You'll Do
Deliver high-quality, culturally safe primary healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Collaborate with nurses,



Aboriginal Health Practitioners, and care managers
Facilitate accurate Medicare claims to support ongoing funding
Contribute to health promotion, data reporting, and continuous quality improvement
What You'll Bring
FRACGP or FACRRM
Current AHPRA registration
Experience in rural, remote or Aboriginal health (highly regarded)
Knowledge of Medicare billing processes
NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Commitment to cultural safety and community-centred care
Australian work rights are required
Minimum 3–5 years of GP experience
