Description:Our client is seeking multiple Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers to support the delivery and management of enterprise storage platforms within a large and complex ICT workplace.
You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing storage systems across both physical and virtual layers, while contributing to the future direction of storage and data platforms.This role sits within a broader infrastructure team responsible for data centres, virtualisation, automation, storage, and backup services.
The position also includes documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring responsibilities.
Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, manage and tune storage systems across physical and virtual environmentsDeploy, configure and manage Storage Area Network (SAN) switchesProduce design,
build and operations documentationContribute to the development of storage and data platform strategiesProvide support for data centre and infrastructure platformsParticipate in after-hours on-call support as requiredShare knowledge with team members and mentor junior staff
Requirements:Experience working in large and complex ICT environmentsAbility to manage enterprise storage systems across multiple platformsExperience with SAN technologies and infrastructureCapability to develop technical documentation including design and operational artefactsAbility to support infrastructure services including backup and restore capabilities
Essential Criteria:Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems:HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage SystemsNetApp E-SeriesDell Data DomainBrocade Fabric SwitchesSANnavScality ArtescaAbility to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and proceduresExcellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staffExperience / Knowledge of the following technology:Veeam Backup and Replication
