We're on the hunt for a
Marketing & Events Coordinator
to be the engine room behind everything Tropical Vets and Gener8 put out into the world — across our eight clinics in North Queensland.
Here's the good news:
you don't need a marketing background.
Our strategy, design and content are handled by a team of specialist partners.
What we need is someone brilliantly organised, genuinely motivated, and great with people to pull it all together — briefing our partners, getting their work out the door locally, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
What you'll be doing
No two weeks look the same, but you'll be the one who:
Runs the show on promotions
— owning our rolling promotions calendar from go to whoa: dates, discounts, banners, posters, social tiles and the lot.
Brings our events to life
— open days, expos, field days, student days and the legendary Christmas party, across all our clinic towns.
Keeps us out in the community
— coordinating wildlife and community programs, capturing the photos and stories.
Keeps the brand tight
— signage on buildings, vehicles and trailers, merch, uniforms, and everything looking sharp and on-brand.
Holds our digital presence together
— aiding with our specialist partners for websites, socials, online store and Google reviews, keeping it all humming day to day.
Connects the dots internally
— from the staff newsletter to recruitment campaigns and our student sponsorships.




You won't be doing it alone — you'll work shoulder to shoulder with our clinic teams, leadership, and a fantastic bunch of external partners.

This role involves regular travel across our North Queensland clinic towns, so you'll need a current driver's licence and be happy to hit the highway often.
A sharp eye for detail
and pride in getting things right.
Confidence with everyday digital tools
(or the appetite to learn fast) — think Canva, social media, email and web content.
Passion for all things animals both large and small
Nice to have, but absolutely not essential:
Experience in marketing, events, communications or coordination.
A dabble in Canva, social media, SEO, Shopify or a practice management system.
A soft spot for animals, veterinary care, or the North Queensland ag community.
No formal marketing qualification needed.
We're backing organisation, initiative, motivation and a willingness to travel over ticks in boxes.
