As a Test Analyst, you'll play an important role in ensuring the quality, performance and reliability of the technology solutions that support our members.
Working as part of a collaborative delivery environment, you'll plan and execute testing across the full testing lifecycle, identify and manage defects, and provide clear insights into system quality.
From reviewing requirements and developing test plans through to executing test scripts and supporting implementation, you'll take ownership of your testing activities and work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Delivery Leads and subject matter experts to deliver quality outcomes.
Your day to day
Develop test plans, test cases, scripts and clear supporting test documentation across functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and data validation testing
Work closely with Agile delivery teams across requirements analysis, backlog refinement and sprint planning to understand testing needs and identify potential gaps
Execute testing across web applications, APIs, databases, batch processes and system integrations
Create and manage test data,
system access and testing environments
Identify, record, investigate and track defects through to resolution, including validating data and issues across multiple systems
Gather testing evidence and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, coverage and system quality
Support test closure activities, stakeholder sign-off and post-implementation defect reviews
About you
You're someone who enjoys getting into the detail, asking the right questions and making sure technology works as intended before it reaches our members and people.
You can take a set of requirements, translate them into a clear testing approach and confidently manage your activities from planning through to completion.
You're organised, analytical and comfortable working independently, but you also know that great testing relies on strong collaboration.
Whether you're clarifying requirements, discussing a defect with a developer or sharing testing insights with stakeholders, you communicate clearly and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach.
You'll also bring:
Experience across test planning, test execution, defect management and test reporting, with strong test design skills and the ability to create and maintain effective test cases and documentation
Proven experience working in Agile delivery teams,
including backlog refinement, sprint planning and requirements analysis
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues across multiple systems
Experience using testing and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence and Zephyr and the ability to execute SQL queries to validate data and investigate defects
Experience testing web applications, APIs, databases, batch processes and system integrations, including API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, Swagger or similar
Experience in test automation, ideally using Selenium with C# and BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow
Exposure to Playwright, modern automation frameworks, AI-assisted testing tools or emerging automation technologies would be advantageous
