APMS Operations Australia is currently recruiting experienced Boilermakers, Coded Welders, Mechanical Fitters and Experienced Trade Assistants and Labourers for a major shutdown project in Remote Western Australia,
commencing 10th September ****.

We are currently seeking experienced:
Coded Welders
Boilermakers
Mechanical Fitters
Experienced Trade Assistants and Labourers
About the Project
This shutdown will be completed at a remote mineral processing operation in Western Australia.
The work will be undertaken within a processing facility, including sulphuric acid plant environments.




Lead by our experienced team of Sulphuric Acid and Catalyst Handling Supervisors and Technicians, you will become part of the team to complete the maintenance of acid towers both internal and external, heat exchangers and converter catalyst screening
Physical Requirements
This project includes physically demanding work across several shutdown work scopes.
Depending on your allocated role, applicants should be comfortable performing:
Repetitive manual handling
Lifting and carrying equipment
Working in hot conditions
Climbing stairs and elevated structures
Wearing full PPE for extended periods
Working 12-hour shifts
Some work scopes will involve sustained physical work utilising industrial vacuum and screening work.
Applicants must be physically fit and capable of safely performing these duties.
Previous experience in catalyst handling or vacuum truck operation will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Trades)
Current Driver's Licence
Working at Heights (within 2 years)
Confined Space Entry (within 2 years)
Gas Test Atmospheres (within 2 years)
Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen




Ability to remain clean shaven for the duration of the shutdown to comply with site respiratory protection requirements
Ability to complete site inductions in a timely manner
Ability to commit to the full shutdown duration
Must be comfortable working within operating acid plant environments and committed to complying with all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and hazard controls at all times.
Positive attitude and reliable work ethic
Australian Working Rights
Applicants must already hold unrestricted Australian working rights.
Due to mobilisation timeframes, applicants requiring sponsorship, visa transfers or future sponsorship will not be considered for this role.
