The Role
Administering the Dangerous Goods Safety Act **** and associated Major Hazard Facility regulations.
Case managing an appropriate safety regulatory oversight regime for assigned operators and associated operations.
Reviewing the acceptability of each assigned operator's safety documentation submissions and makes recommendations.
Managing all safety related communication and meetings between the department and each assigned operator.
Liaising with assigned operators to identify improvements and enhancements to the operator to enhance safety and legislative compliance.
Undertaking audits,



inspections and conducts or reviews investigations as required.
Qualifications & Licenses
Bachelor of Engineering or Science in petroleum, chemical, process or electrical discipline or other approved bachelor's degree relevant to the operations of highly complex safety critical industry sectors.
Current Western Australian C or C-A class driver's license or equivalent
