Gooring Jimbila Contracting (GJC) is seeking an experienced
Heavy Diesel Fitter
to join our growing team, supporting civil, earthworks and mine closure projects across Western Australia.
This is a hands-on role working on a diverse fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment in a safety-focused and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile plant and equipment
Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently
Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance
Complete pre-start inspections and maintenance records
Work closely with supervisors and operators to minimise downtime
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with safety and company standards
About You
Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
Previous experience working on civil or mining equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
Current driver's licence (HR preferred but not essential)
