We're looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our team at our modern South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located near Tonkin Highway.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values working close to home, enjoys a consistent routine, and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team environment.
Your Day-to-Day
In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our fleet running safely and reliably, working on a variety of heavy vehicles and plant equipment.
Key responsibilities:
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairsPerforming scheduled servicing and preventative maintenanceCompleting inspections and safety checks
What makes you a great fit?
Trade qualification (AQF3) in Heavy Duty Mechanics, Auto Electrics, or Mechanical FittingSolid experience working with heavy vehicles or plant equipmentConfidence in diagnostics, hydraulics, and low-voltage electrical systemsA team-focused attitude with a strong work ethicCurrent WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence (essential)
Desirable:
HR LicenceEWP, Dogging, or Forklift tickets
