Job Description
Job Title: Architectural Draftsperson (ANZSCO ******) Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team on a full time basis.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist our Design Manager, Workshop Manager and Construction Site Manager in planning and coordinating architectural steel fabrication projects.
Interpret architectural plans, specifications, building regulations and relevant codes of practice.
Prepare preliminary sketches, shop drawings, working drawings and technical specifications using CAD software.
Prepare, update and revise plans, layouts and fabrication drawings to meet project requirements.
Coordinate drawing schedules and project documentation throughout the fabrication and installation process.




Inspect fabricated work and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications, Australian Standards and quality requirements.
Calculate material quantities and assist in estimating project costs and timeframes.
Collect site measurements and project data to support the preparation of accurate drawings.
Perform routine calculations and prepare preliminary layouts to assist with project planning.
Requirements:
Relevant qualifications or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification
At least 1 year of experience
Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.
