Registered Nurse Level 2 with salary range of $104,826 - $110,122 per annum pro rata + Superannuation
Classification: Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of $99,432 - $111,229) per annum pro rata + Superannuation
Salary packaging arrangements provided increasing take home pay

About your recent role
As a Mental Health AOD Clinician, you will have a minimum of 2 years mental health experience as a registered and accredited Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse.
In addition it is desirable that you have AOD experience and qualifications.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary recovery-focused team inclusive of adult and child and family clinicians, LGBTQIA+, AOD, and mental health peer support workers.
Drawing on your disciplinary skills, you will:
Engage with consumers to provide evidence based psychological therapies and clinical interventions;
Work with the consumers allied health or medical team and their supports aimed at improving mental health outcomes and/or help the consumer to recover from drug and alcohol use,
Play an active role in disciplinary knowledge sharing with your colleagues whilst creating a reciprocal learning setting within the team.

What you will bring to the role




Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Nursing
Accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHPRA, AASW, ACA
Proven minimum two years clinical experience to apply evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions, including understanding of theoretical concepts within mental health and AOD sciences and their application to mental health and/or AOD presentations.
Experience working as a member of a multi- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation.
Demonstrated ability to form and nurture partnerships with government and non-government mental health, AOD, emergency and community service providers.
Desirable
Demonstrated experience in working with children, youth and families/carers, and applying evidence based psychological therapies
Demonstrated experience in working with people across the life span
Knowledge of local services particularly relevant to designated program area.
Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Act, policies, and practices with the ability to assess and manage clinical, work health and safety, quality & organisational risk.
Knowledge of Equal Opportunities Legislation, policies, and practices
Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health/AOD programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
Knowledge of Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics: aware of and practicing within relevant Federal and State Legislation and the relevant Professional Code of Practice, Conduct and Ethics
