This role will primarily focus on retail leasing, acting for a diverse client base on a broad range of leasing matters, while also providing exposure to other areas of property law.Working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers, you'll be involved in high-quality matters and enjoy genuine opportunities to develop your technical expertise and progress your career.DutiesYour responsibilities will include (but are not to) including:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail and commercial lease documentationManaging lease renewals, assignments, variations and surrendersProviding practical advice on leasing legislation,



compliance and day-to-day property management issueBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipAssisting on broader property matters as requiredThe ideal candidateTo be successful in this role you will ideally have:2–4 years PAE with demonstrated experience in leasing, particularly retail leasingStrong drafting and negotiation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPragmatic, client-focused approachAbility to manage competing priorities and work autonomouslyStrong attention to detail and a cooperative approachAbout our clientOur client is a highly regarded CBD law firm recognised for its outstanding property practice and supportive culture.
