Our client is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its high-performing Employment Relations & Safety team in Brisbane.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, meaningful matters—particularly within the public sector—while being supported by a collaborative and down-to‐earth team.
Working closely with a highly regarded Partner and a respected group of practitioners, you'll play a key role advising government and private sector clients on a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters.
What you'll be doing:
Advising on workforce management, disciplinary processes and IR strategy
Acting in disputes across tribunals, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and general protections matters
Managing investigations into misconduct, corruption and code of conduct issues
Supporting clients with performance, termination and compliance matters
Delivering training and thought leadership across workplace issues
What you'll bring:
5+ years' PAE in employment/IR law
Robust experience across federal and Queensland IR frameworks
Background working with (or advising) government clients highly regarded




Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
A genuine interest in mentoring and contributing to team development
