Job Overview
This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of capital investment projects across NHS Forth Valley.
The Board has an ambitious Population Health & Care Strategy and the development of appropriate property infrastructure to support this, is critical to its success.
Responsibilities
NHS Forth Valley is seeking to recruit a project manager with experience in capital projects of a variety of types and value, preferably in an NHS Scotland environment.
The role requires applying a consistent project management process to multiple projects, from inception to completion, demonstrating familiarity with project and risk management methodologies.
You will use highly developed communication skills to establish solid working relationships, work effectively as a team player, and also be able to work autonomously.
Requirements
You must be self‐directed and have significant experience of working with multiple stakeholders, directing design consultants and contractors, and be familiar with the Scottish Government Whole System Infrastructure Planning and Capital Investment Manual processes.
Experience of a variety of contract methods would be advantageous.




You should be able to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
You will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
Work Hours
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‐time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week.
Part‐time hours will be reduced pro‐rata.
However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
