Based in our established Brisbane office, this is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow Lucid's Structural Engineering capability in the region.

As Structural Regional Lead, you'll provide technical and strategic leadership, supporting the growth of the structural team while building and enhancing client relationships across the wider Lucid service offering.
You'll work across a diverse range of projects spanning Defence, Health, Energy & Resources, Correctional, Transport & Infrastructure, Industrial, Retail, and Commercial sectors.
This is an opportunity to shape a growing regional capability, mentor and develop others, and play an active role in the continued growth of Lucid's national Structural Engineering service.
How you'll contribute day-to-day
Lead and grow the Structural Engineering capability across the region.
Be part of the National Structural leadership group to contribute to overall structural strategy.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across structural projects.
Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
Identify and support new business and project opportunities.




Collaborate with regional and national leaders across our range of services to support Lucid's broader growth.
Mentor and support the development of engineers within the team.
Support resource planning and the effective delivery of projects.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the Structural Engineering service.
What sets you up for success
To thrive in this role, you'll be someone who combines strong technical capability with leadership, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for developing people and client relationships.
You'll have:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in the QLD market across medium to large-scale projects.
Strong client relationships and knowledge of the QLD market.
An interest in business growth, innovation, and building capability.
Strong technical knowledge and structural design capability.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering teams.
Experience managing project teams, deliverables, and competing priorities.
A passion for mentoring and developing others.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency, with a pathway to Australian Citizenship, due to opportunities to work across Defence projects.
