Job DescriptionAssociate – Investment Banking (Renewables)Sydney | Global Advisory FirmJoin a leading global advisory platform known for high‐impact deal execution, deep sector expertise and a collaborative, high‐performance culture.
As the Energy team continues to grow, we are seeking anAssociateto play a central role in delivering complex M&A; and capital markets transactions.This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a lean team environment, gain direct exposure to senior bankers and clients, and play an influential role in shaping major infrastructure and energy transition deals.The OpportunityAs an Associate, you will work across a broad range of transactions spanning renewables, energy transition, utilities, transport, digital infrastructure and core real assets.
You will take ownership of financial analysis, drive key workstreams and contribute directly to strategic advice and deal delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead core analytical and execution workstreams across M&A; and capital raising transactions.Build and refine detailed financial models, including DCFs, trading comps, precedent comps and project valuation analysis.Prepare high‐quality client materials including pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations and internal committee papers.Coordinate due diligence processes, including data room management, Q&A;, consultant engagement and document review.Support senior bankers in client meetings,



strategic discussions and transaction negotiations.Develop sector insights across renewables, energy transition and critical infrastructure to support execution and origination.Provide guidance, feedback and oversight to Analysts, ensuring strong analytical output and modelling quality.Who We're Looking For2–5+ years of experience in investment banking, M&A; advisory, corporate development or infrastructure/project finance.Strong financial modelling and valuation capability, with the ability to independently run analytical workstreams.Demonstrated experience executing or supporting transactions in infrastructure, energy, renewables or adjacent sectors.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and confidently.High attention to detail, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a lean, high‐intensity environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or related disciplines.
Postgraduate studies (CFA/MBA) valued but not essential.Why This Role?
