Job Description
Lead all payroll remediation projects, ensuring deliverables, milestones and deadlines are achieved
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, reporting progress, risks and outcomes to senior leadership
Investigate payroll discrepancies and identify root causes across payroll systems and processes
Implement corrective actions to resolve payroll issues accurately and effectively
Partner with HR, Finance, IT and external vendors to support remediation activities
Ensure all remediation work aligns with legislative requirements and internal governance standards
Prepare documentation and evidence required for audits and compliance reviews
Communicate project updates, risks and remediation outcomes to key stakeholders
Identify systemic issues and recommend long‐term process improvements
Update payroll policies, procedures and controls to support ongoing compliance
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience in payroll remediation, payroll compliance, payroll audit or payroll project environments
A minimum of 5 years' payroll experience within a complex organisation
Robust understanding of payroll legislation, compliance obligations and risk management
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities
The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Outstanding planning, organisational and project management skills
