This is an exciting opportunity to lead Music education across Years 7–12, support colleagues, and inspire students through creativity, performance and a love of learning.
About the Role
As Learning Area Coordinator – Music, you will provide leadership across the Music program while teaching students in Years 7–12.
Working closely with colleagues, you will lead curriculum development, support teaching excellence, and foster engaging learning experiences that enable students to flourish both academically and creatively.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the development and implementation of Music curriculum across Years 7–12.
Supporting and mentoring staff within the learning area.
Promoting high-quality teaching, assessment and learning practices.
Encouraging student participation in performances, co-curricular activities and wider musical opportunities.
Managing learning area resources and contributing to strategic curriculum initiatives.
You will be an enthusiastic and collaborative Music educator who:




Holds current teacher registration in South Australia.
Has experience teaching Music across secondary year levels.
Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge, ideally including SACE and/or IB MYP.
Possesses excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
Is committed to continuous improvement and qualified growth.
Supports the Christian ethos and values of Faith Lutheran College.
