Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager, Operations manages financial operations, executes initiatives, and ensures inventory, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities are maintained and maximized.Core Responsibilities Implement the Store Manager's Operations strategy and vision for the store and cascade to team members using independent judgment.
Plan, prepare, and manage team member schedules, taking into account labor requirements, availability, safety requirements, inventory deliveries, and budget considerations.
Manage the budget and analyze other business data and metrics (e.g., P&L; statement, expenses) to inform planning processes and drive results.
Monitor progress against financial goals (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) to evaluate sales and support strategy.
Sustain operational excellence by ensuring inventory accuracy and verifying labor is scheduled to efficiently execute product operations.
Oversee and monitor execution of market‐relevant omnichannel programs according to company standards.
Execute company‐level operations‐focused directives, projects, and initiatives.
Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.
Perform people‐related actions: update personnel information, complete payroll, approve time‐off, shift swaps, and job changes.
Lead from and move dynamically on the floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
Inform other store leaders of projected team growth needs to support building a strong and diverse team.
Actively monitor product levels and organize accurate, efficient inventory receiving and processing.
RequirementsEligibility Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located.
Must have the ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation.
Schedule & Availability Full‐time position, 38 hours per week.
The work schedule is based on a roster and can vary based on store needs.
Shifts are typically scheduled: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Schedule may require early mornings or late nights/overnights; attendance at evening inventory shifts will be necessary.
Experience At least 1 year managing business operations and administration, including scheduling and managing designated labor hours.
Job Assets High school diploma, equivalent, or above.
1 year retail or sales specific management experience.
1 year recruiting, hiring, or training employees.
