Responsibilities
How This Will Grow Your Career: As the Venue Manager, you'll be at the helm of the Perth venue, overseeing the end-to-end experience for every client and event, working alongside a close-knit team.
This role will broaden your leadership capability across venue operations, hospitality and events management, while giving you exposure to strategic decision-making within a national business.
In this role, you will:
Mentor a diverse team across catering, front-of-house, and operations.
Champion service excellence and smooth, memorable event delivery.
Balance strategic planning with hands-on event oversight and team support.
Build stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Be Working On
This role gives you full ownership of the Perth venue's operations.
You'll manage day-to-day delivery while also supporting team development and venue management.
It's a highly collaborative position where communication, emotional intelligence and the ability to bring people together are key.
In this role, you will:
Oversee all aspects of daily venue operations to ensure high standards
Develop and coach staff to deliver exceptional experiences consistently
Manage supplier relationships, rostering, and cost-effective procurement
Collaborate with internal teams to support seamless event logistics, including exams
Maintain WHS compliance and ensure the venue reflects Cliftons' brand and service expectations
Coordinate affiliate events and ensure consistent service delivery across locations
What You'll Bring
You'll be a collaborative leader who enjoys bringing people together, solving problems and creating great experiences for clients and colleagues alike.
You'll have:
Proven experience managing hospitality or event venues
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a supportive, high-performing culture
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Financial acumen to manage budgets, rosters, and vendor agreements
