Insight Early Learning – Kelmscott
is looking for a passionate and experienced
Diploma-qualified Room Leader
to join our Nursery team in a
permanent part-time role.

**The ideal candidate must be available to work a range of shifts and days, Monday to Friday, between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm, not only during school hours.

About the Role
As a
Room Leader
, you will play a key role in leading the
Nursery room
while supporting our core values: Wisdom, Innovation, Sustainability, and Equity.
Your day-to-day will include:
Leading the day-to-day operations of your assigned room
Collaborating with the Educational Leader to plan, implement, and reflect on high-quality learning programs
Supporting children's learning through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions
Monitoring children's health, nutrition, and hygiene while providing emotional support and guidance
Observing and documenting children's development in line with learning outcomes, and setting future goals
Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and your team
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Ensuring all health, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met
Working in line with Insight Early Learning's philosophy, policies, and procedures
Assisting with other duties as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is confident, nurturing, and brings positive energy to the team.
You will have:
Diploma
in Early Childhood Education (must have)
Current and valid
Working with Children Check
(must have)
Proven
experience as a Room Leader
in a nursery setting (must have)
Current Child Protection, Mandatory Reporting, and Foundations training (or willing to complete prior to commencement)
Strong understanding of the
National Quality Framework
(NQF)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A warm, engaging, and proactive approach to supporting children, families, and colleagues
Experience using Xplor or a similar childcare management system (nice to have)
