About the Role
We are looking for experienced industrial Painters and Blasters for ongoing work at Sino Iron, Cape Preston.
You will be working across surface preparation and protective coating application on fixed plant and infrastructure in a heavy mining workplace.
The role is FIFO ex Perth on a 2:1 roster.
Both permanent and casual arrangements are available.
What You Will Be Doing
Abrasive blasting and surface preparation to specification
Application of protective coatings and industrial paint systems
Reading and following paint specs and technical data sheets
Working at heights and in confined spaces as required
Maintaining a clean and compliant work area
What We Need From You
Essential:
Demonstrated experience in industrial or mining painting and blasting
Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights (WAH) and Confined Space Entry (CSE), valid within the last 5 years
LF and WP High Risk Work Licence
Construction "White" Card
Valid Australian C Class driver's licence
Full Australian Working Rights
Clean-shaven.
Mask fit is mandatory and non-negotiable on site
